The blog An Island Life chronicles a mother's life in Hawaii. On it, she started a blog phenomenon called "Aloha Friday." She writes:
"In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response."
I'll join in the fun, along with the 100+ people posting their questions. Here in Las Vegas, things get pretty hot in the summer. To keep cool, I love to drink iced tea! So, here's my question for you:
What snack and/or drink is your favorite when dealing with the summer heat? If you don't have one, then what is a different method you use to keep cool?
Well, that's my Aloha Friday question! Feel free to write as long or as short of a response as you want in the comments of this post, and be sure to click the picture above to read An Island Life's latest installment of Aloha Friday!

Love ice cold water in the summer. Fruit salad and cucumbers are also great to have. To beat the heat, staying in the nice AC is the best ;) Can not even imagine the Vegas heat. I cringe in the summer here thanks to the heat and humidity.
We love Shave Ice with ice cream during the Summers. Heck, we love it year round.
Ice cold Lemonade or Ice Tea, but we have ice cream a lot too. I make a lot of salads to in the summer. Following you. Have a great weekend. Nice to meet you!
I like Slurpees, Fresh chilled fruit and Popsicles.
I love drinking ice tea during the hot summer months - I'm also less hungry during the summer, so I eat more fruits and veggies that time of year (which I really should be doing year 'round...) ;) As for keeping cool, since we don't have central air and if the window units aren't doing the trick as well as they could, I'll go for a drive and blast the air conditioning in the car. :)
Aloha: Burgers
I like to drink a mixture of Lemonade and Ice tea. called English Ice tea.
My Aloha Friday Link for you

and sweet tea!
I usually wear less clothes, use a bit of a/c, drink water, or juice with ice and water, make smoothies and try to stay in the shade as much as possible.
eat as much ice cream as possible!

Ice Cream of course!!!
It may seem weird, but for me, nothing quenches a thirst than a watered down macdonald's coke! And going to the cinemas to cool myself down.
