So, guess what I did? Yup, that's right. I went to Gatorade's official website and downloaded the song from their latest commercial... I don't know why, but I really love the song. (It's called Gatorade Has Evolved and it's performed by Kermit Quinn.) It's just really uplifting.
I love songs from commercials. Some of the best music on my iPod came from commercials I saw... Such as Stole My Heart by Little and Ashley (from an Amazon Kindle commercial) and Major Tom by Shiny Toy Guns (from a 2010 Lincoln MKZ commercial).
But enough about commercials. (This isn't a TV commercial blog, after all.) I've actually (kinda) started on the portrait I'm doing for my grandparents. (I just drew the grid on the canvas, actually...) I need to have it done by around July 7th or 8th, I think. I need new paintbrushes, though... The ones I bought got all smashed, and they shed all over my paintings. I know a better kind to buy now, though, so let's hope these next ones work.I've decided to enter a couple contests, to give myself something to do... One is an art contest, the other is a film-making contest. It should keep me occupied for a couple days. Then again, I also have to work on that portrait, as well as reading that book for English class and doing that summer assignment for art class... This kind of sucks. It's summer, yet I am still plagued with work.
So, I'm going to be needing a new swimsuit, I suppose. My old swimsuit doesn't fit anymore... Fortunately, though, I saw a swimsuit I really liked in a magazine. It's really inexpensive, and it's sold at Wet Seal. There are only a couple of problems though... 1) The only Wet Seal stores I know of are kind of far away. 2) I'm broke as joke, and I don't know if my mom would agree to buy it for me.
Oh well. It's not as if I have a pool, or anything... (My mom and I really wanted to find a house with a pool when we were looking at houses last summer, but my dad said it would be too expensive to maintain.)

Well, I promised my mom and my brother that I wouldn't be on the computer all night, and I don't want to be a hypocrite. (When I ask them to get off the computer, they usually take a couple of hours, in which case I usually yell at them, and they usually use some lame excuse that has nothing to do with my complaint. Of course, they deny doing this when I bring it up later and insist that it's somehow my fault.)
See you later, and enjoy summer!
P.S. I'm going to the orthodontist tomorrow... I'm getting my braces off soon. Yay! And yet, at the same time... Not yay. (I've heard getting them off is the most painful part of the whole process.)

Getting them off isn't painful its the glue comming off thats bad. It sounds like nails on a chalk board.

D:< Fml, man. Fml. Even just getting the wires changed sends chills down my spine.
The orthodontists said it'll be another month or two still, though.
