Sweets, Trends, and Something Exciting

Summer isn't quite as exciting as I had thought it would be. I mean, don't get me wrong, the lack of school is nice and all, but... I really don't know what I want anymore. First I thought that I wanted to hang out with my friends and go out and do stuff, but that sounds kind of exhausting. However, at the same time, I don't like just laying around here like a lump of guacamole either. (Do not mock my similes.) I'm not completely miserable or anything, though. Just... Bored, that's all.

I need an art project to do to take up my time... I have recently discovered the joy of watercolors, so perhaps I'll find a bunch of old drawings I never colored and watercolor them. For about six months or so, I've had these Talens brand watercolors that I bought at Michaels... They're pretty nice, but I never really used them much. I feel as though I have been neglecting them, so I suppose I'll start putting them to good use. The best part about them is that, because they're just water and pigment, they're super easy to clean up!

And now for a completely unrelated subject... Lately, a lot of my friends have been getting a Tumblr. It's basically the new Blogger, from what I understand. Now, most people in my position would probably switch to Tumblr... But I've had this blog for so long, and I like it, you know? Plus, Tumblr just kind of seems like a combination of Blogger and Twitter. I've never really quite understood the point of twitter... It's basically the same as updating your status on a site like Facebook or something, right? So why not just get a Facebook, and do that? I don't know, maybe I'm missing something. Oh well... I'm happy with what I've got now. 

Moving on. Lately, I've been eating a lot of candy and sweets. I mean, a lot. Then again, I normally eat a lot anyway, I suppose... But I've been particularly obsessed with pretzel M'n'M's, Kit-Kat bars, and cake. Unfortunately, I seem to have run out of all three at the moment... I must buy more; my sanity depends on it! (By the way, if you haven't tried pretzel M'n'M's yet... Do it. You won't be disappointed. From what I understand, however, they can be a bit tricky to find... I buy mine from my local Walgreens, but I've seen them a couple other places too.)

I've been renting quite a few movies lately, so I'll probably be putting up a movie review post sometime soon. Until then, farewell!
