Well, I got home from California on Monday night. it was pretty fun.
We spent Thursday driving up there (about an 8 to 10 hour drive). On Friday, we visited with family, and we also went to the JC Penny at the mall so that I could get something to wear to the party. On Saturday, we went to the party for my grandparents' 50th anniversary, which was really a lot of fun. Everybody liked my painting, and at one point, they clapped for me. On Sunday, we visited with family some more, and we (my brother, my mom, my grandparents, my aunt, my cousin, and I) all went out to dinner at Applebee's. Overall, it was a pretty fun little vacation, even if it was kind of short.
The annual family camping trip is the end of this month, but my family isn't sure if we can go yet... After all, we would have to buy a new tent, supplies, etc. I really hope we can go, because it's at Morro Bay, which is a beautiful place. I love it there, but I've only been camping there a few times.
Well, let's see... It's summer, so there's really not that much else to talk about here. I guess I'll Just be going now... Oh, and by the way, for today's Wordless Wednesday post, I will be posting a photograph of the finished portrait that I have been talking about for weeks.
